This is the second half of Upper Deck's flagship hockey release, finishing off the 250-card base set and bringing in the rest of the Young Guns rookie cards. Headlined by Cale Makar, whose rookie card carries serious weight in Series 2, it also features other current stars like Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Auston Matthews. The hit ratio is light but present. You're most likely to pull a Rookie Materials card (1:55), with patches limited to 25 copies each. Autos are very thin in this product, with only one main set signature chase - the Sedin brothers from the UD Canvas Signatures subset. Memorabilia includes Rookie Dual Materials and Rookie Photo Shoot Flashback Materials, both at a tough 1:576. Parallel collectors will find Exclusives (/100) and High Gloss (/10) on base, along with a photo variation at 1:1,000. While the autograph lineup is slim, the Makar, Matthews, and McDavid base cards give the product some star power.
