What are these options?
- Hobby Box
- The full-size box sold through card shops rather than big-box stores. It has the most packs and the best odds, and most modern hobby boxes guarantee at least one autograph or memorabilia card. Pack and card counts vary by product line. Older listings sometimes call this a wax box.

Frequently asked
Who's 2024 Topps Gilded Collection for?
The deep end. People buy this chasing top rookie patch autos and legend signatures, and the price reflects it.
What makes 2024 Topps Gilded Collection different from regular Chrome?
Gilded is a high-end, autograph-focused release with a gold treatment applied to all 150 base cards. Every card in the product is numbered to 99 or lower, making it one of the scarcest base sets of the season. You're guaranteed 2 autographs per box, which is the main draw.
What are the key rookie cards to chase?
Paul Skenes (Pittsburgh Pirates), Jackson Holliday (Baltimore Orioles), Elly De La Cruz (Cincinnati Reds), and Yoshinobu Yamamoto (Los Angeles Dodgers) are among the notable rookies in the 150-card base set. All are numbered to 99, so even base versions are scarce.
What's the Gold Storm insert and why do collectors hunt it?
Gold Storm is a new insert set numbered to just 24, plus a 1/1 Superfractor parallel. It's the rarest standard insert in the product and represents the main non-autograph chase for breakers and box openers.
How do the base card parallels work?
All 150 base cards come in multiple gold-themed refractor parallels: Gold Refractor (1:1 packs), Gold Wave (/75, 1:2 packs), Mini-Diamond Gold (/50, 1:2 packs), Gold RayWave (/25, 1:4 packs), Gold Lava (/10, 1:10 packs), Electroblack (/5, 1:19 packs), and Superfractor (1/1, 1:93 packs). The lower the print run, the rarer the pull.
Which autograph sets are in this product?
There are five autograph sets: Gold Framed Hall of Famers (one per box, /99), Topps Chrome Gold Autographs (/99), Gilded Hall of Fame Plaque Autographs (/25), Topps Gilded Champions (/50 for World Series winners), and Topps Gallery of Gold (/50). Each has multiple parallel tiers up to Platinum 1/1.
Is this product worth the $580 retail price?
That depends on your collecting goals. You're guaranteed 2 autographs per box, which is a strong value for a high-end product. However, secondary market prices have ranged from $800 to $1,000, so if you're buying to resell, you'd need to pull significant hits. For collectors chasing Hall of Famers and scarce numbered cards, the guaranteed autos make it more predictable than most premium releases.
How many boxes are in a case?
There are 6 hobby boxes per case, so a case hit would yield one card per 6 boxes for any case-level exclusive (though this product doesn't appear to have case-level hits beyond the standard box guarantees).
What legends and stars are featured in the base set?
The 150-card set includes Shohei Ohtani, Derek Jeter, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Mookie Betts, Juan Soto, and many other Hall of Famers and current superstars. The small set size means a high concentration of recognizable names.
When did 2024 Topps Gilded Collection come out?
It dropped November 22, 2024.
What's in a 2024 Topps Gilded Collection hobby box?
1 pack per box, 5 cards per pack, 2 autographs guaranteed per box
What's the cheapest 2024 Topps Gilded Collection hobby box right now?
Cheapest we're tracking is $2299.95 USD. Prices update daily, and the trend arrow on this page shows which way it's been moving.
