CardStock is a free and open resource for collectors, by collectors.

I built this because pricing one box meant keeping a dozen tabs open to answer two questions, what is in the box and what it should cost. CardStock does not sell cards. It reads the checklists and watches shop prices so you do not have to, every price links out to the shop or seller that has it, and hockey is the deepest right now while the other sports fill in.

  Pick a player, tick Rookie and Autograph, and you get back every card that is both, across every product we hold a checklist for. Team, serial numbering, memorabilia, short prints and card number narrow it further. Expand a row to see every parallel of that card, meaning the same card reprinted in a different colour or finish.

  Every product page lists one row per way that box is sold, from a hobby box up to a full case, with the cheapest in-stock price at the Canadian shops we track beside the American ones, each in its own currency. On single box rows, though not on cases, a cheaper eBay listing shipping from inside that same country can fill an empty cell or undercut the shops.

  Boxes currently cheaper than usual, ranked by our own algorithm out of the discount, the money saved, and how far clear the price sits of the next cheapest shop. Usual means the middle of what the shops carrying it are charging right now. Where only two shops carry it, it compares against that box's own typical price over the past month instead.

  Open a season and the rookies worth chasing that year sit directly above the grid of sealed boxes and their cheapest Canadian and American prices. It is a hand picked shortlist rather than the full rookie class, and each box says whether we hold its checklist.

  Where we have loaded the checklist, a product page pairs the best price for each format with two rows of players, rookies and stars. Each one prints how many autographs and memorabilia cards that player has in the set. Click a face to list their cards, with the stated odds of pulling each one.

  Expand a card in the checklist and one button opens eBay in a new tab with the season, product, player and card number already in the search box. We do not show the listings or the prices here, it just saves you typing all of that out.
• Which prices are moving.

  Boxes split into going up and going down over the last two weeks, per market, with what each cost then and what it costs now. Only boxes with enough recent price history qualify, so it is a short list of movers rather than the whole catalog. Every product page also draws a 30 day chart of the cheapest price per day.

There are no accounts, no paywall, and no plan to change that. If you buy through a shop or marketplace link the site may earn a small commission, which costs you nothing and is the only thing paying the bills. It is unfinished on purpose, and I keep a running log of what has actually shipped rather than what is planned.
