Frequently asked
Who's 2009 Topps Unique for?
The deep end. People buy this chasing top rookie patch autos and legend signatures, and the price reflects it.
What makes 2009 Topps Unique worth opening?
Every box is guaranteed one autographed card, plus a Jumbo Relic and a Patch Relic. That's a solid hit rate for a $6-per-pack product, especially if you land a star rookie auto like David Price or Andrew McCutchen.
What are the key rookie cards?
Rookies occupy cards #151-200 and are inserted 1:2 packs, serial-numbered to 2699. Notable 2009 rookies include David Price, Andrew McCutchen, Colby Rasmus, and David Hernandez. Their autograph versions are the main chase.
How do the autograph tiers work?
You've got Solo Shot (single player), Dual Distinction (two players), and Triple Threat (three players) autographs. There are also Autographed Relics in the same tiers. The multi-player cards are rarer and more valuable.

200 cards total: 150 veterans (1-150) and 50 rookies (151-200). The design features action photography and is exclusive to hobby outlets. Veterans include Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, and other 2009 stars.
Are there numbered parallels?
Yes. Rookie cards are serial-numbered to 2699. Relics come in numbered tiers: Jumbo Relics to 40 or less, Patch Relics to 99 or less. Autographed Relics follow similar numbering schemes depending on the tier.

10 boxes per case. Each box has 24 packs of 7 cards, so you're looking at 168 cards per box and 1,680 per case.
How does this compare to other 2009 releases?
Topps Unique is a premium, autograph-heavy product exclusive to hobby shops. The guaranteed auto per box and relic hits make it more chase-oriented than standard Series 1 or Extended sets, but it's pricier at $6 per pack.
