Frequently asked
What's the main draw of 2011 Topps American Pie?
It's a celebrity autograph and relic set celebrating pop culture and historic moments. You're chasing signatures from names like Charlie Sheen, Jimi Hendrix, Mickey Rooney, and Bob Costas, plus relic cards with clothing swatches and memorabilia pieces.
How many autographs or relics are in each box?
Each 24-pack hobby box includes three autograph or relic cards, plus one buyback vintage Topps card. So you're guaranteed hits in every box.
What makes the Charlie Sheen card special?
Sheen appears on a limited 60th anniversary card with only 60 copies printed, making it one of the scarcest hits in the product. Most other celebrity autos are printed to 200 copies.
Are there different types of autographs and relics?
Yes. You can pull standard autographs (200 copies), cut signatures (1/1s), dual cuts, quad cuts, autographed relics (limited to 50), and cut signature relics (1/1s). Relic types include clothing swatches, Walk of Fame patches, coin relics, and stamp relics.
What are the insert sets I should know about?
The main inserts are Hollywood Walk of Fame (25 stars, 50 copies each), Fads and Fashions, Hirsute History (notable hairstyles), American Pie Relics (50 subjects), Coin Relics (75 people with multiple versions), and Stamp Collection Relics. Every pack has a parallel or insert.
Is this a sports product or entertainment?
It's purely entertainment and pop culture. While Topps' American Pie line historically mixed baseball history with pop culture, the 2011 revival is a 200-card non-sports set focused on celebrities, historic moments, and cultural icons.
What's included with the buyback card in each box?
Each box includes one buyback autograph or relic from past Topps releases, adding a vintage element to the product alongside the new celebrity content.
