Frequently asked
What makes this product special for the 2003-04 season?
It's Topps Bazooka's basketball debut, and it lands in LeBron James' rookie year. You're chasing LeBron, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh as key rookies, plus established stars like Kobe Bryant, Shaq, and Allen Iverson.
How many relic cards should I expect per box?
On average, you'll pull 3 relic cards per box. They come from four main insert lines: Blasts, Boo-Yah!, Piece of Americana, and Beginnings. Each has foil parallels numbered to 25 that are tougher pulls.
What are the parallel cards in this set?
Every pack contains one Mini Parallel and one regular Parallel card. There's also a Gold parallel set and rare Press Plates (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) for the base cards.
Are there autographs in Bazooka?
Yes, but they're extremely rare. The Signs insert features autographs with pull rates ranging from 1:2000 packs (Shaq) to 1:5840 packs (Carmelo, Kobe). Most boxes won't hit an auto.
What other inserts should I know about?
Beyond relics, you'll find Comics, Four-on-One Stickers, and Tattoos. The base set also includes Bazooka Joe cards inserted at 1:6 packs. These are fun, thematic inserts that fit the Bazooka brand.
How many cards are in the base set?
The base set has 288 cards total. Rookies (#221-275) are inserted at 1:3 packs, and Bazooka Joe Rookies (#276-288) are at 1:6 packs, so you'll hit plenty of rookie content.
What's the difference between regular and foil relic parallels?
The foil versions of Blasts, Boo-Yah!, Piece of Americana, and Beginnings are numbered to 25, making them significantly scarcer than the base relic cards. They're the premium chase within each relic line.
