What are these options?
- Hobby Box
- The full-size box sold through card shops rather than big-box stores. It has the most packs and the best odds, and most modern hobby boxes guarantee at least one autograph or memorabilia card. Pack and card counts vary by product line. Older listings sometimes call this a wax box.

Frequently asked
Who's 2022 Panini Luminance for?
The deep end. People buy this chasing top rookie patch autos and legend signatures, and the price reflects it.
What are the key rookie cards in 2022 Luminance?
The 2022 draft class is well-represented with cards of Kenny Pickett, Jameson Williams, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and many others. Year One Signatures gives you on-card autographs from top rookies like these, making them the primary chase for collectors hunting first official autos.
How many autographs will I get per box?
You'll pull 3 autographs per box on average. That includes base autographs, Year One Signatures, Portrait Signatures, Shutter Signatures, Trailblazing Autographs, and Autograph Jerseys across the product.
What's new in 2022 compared to previous Luminance releases?
New inserts include Shutter Signatures, Trailblazing Autographs, Sheesh, Vestige, and Vector. The design keeps the minimalist approach with full-bleed photography, but adds a team stripe running down the side. Year One Signatures returns with rookie on-card autos.
How do the parallels work?
Base cards have eight parallel tiers: Gold (/249), Blue (/149), Green (/99), Orange (/50), Teal (/35), Red (/25), Pink (/10), and Platinum (1/1). Rookie and veteran autographs have their own parallel structures, with some numbered as low as /10 or 1/1.
What's the difference between Portrait Signatures and Shutter Signatures?
Portrait Signatures use close-up, portrait-style photography with base versions numbered to 99 or fewer. Shutter Signatures are new in 2022 and feature a sleek design with a colorful backdrop, also numbered to 99 or fewer. Both have Gold, Green, and Platinum parallels.
Are there any case-hit inserts?
Yes. Far Out and Moments return as case-hit inserts, meaning they're harder to pull and typically found at the case level rather than in individual boxes.
What's the base set size?
The base set is 200 cards total, featuring a mix of veteran stars like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Travis Kelce, plus the full 2022 rookie class.
