What makes 2020-21 OPC Platinum worth opening?
It's one of the first sets with on-card rookie autographs from the 2020-21 class. You're guaranteed one auto per box, and the rookie sigs (Lafreniere, Kaprizov, Robertson, Stutzle, etc.) are the main draw. The chromium base and 13 parallel tiers give you lots of chase cards beyond just the autos.

Alexis Lafreniere, Kirill Kaprizov, Tim Stutzle, and Jason Robertson are the biggest names. The set has 50 marquee rookies total (#151-200), so there's depth. Lafreniere and Kaprizov are the most sought after.
How do the parallels work?
There are 13 parallels total. The first three (Rainbow, Sunset, Matte Pink) are pull-rate based (1:4, 1:10, 1:20 packs). The other 10 are numbered, ranging from /499 down to 1/1 Golden Treasures. You'll average two numbered parallels per box.
What's the difference between this and regular 2020-21 O-Pee-Chee?
Platinum is the chromium version released later (November 2021 vs. September 2020 for base OPC). It has way more rookie content, guaranteed autographs, and a much deeper parallel lineup. It's a premium product compared to the base set.
Are there any other autograph inserts besides Rookie Autos?
Yes. Retro cards have Red Autographs (1:160 packs), and Best in the World, Photo Driven, and Sweet Selections all have hobby-exclusive autograph versions. So you could pull multiple autos from a single box if you get lucky.
What's the Retro insert all about?
Retro cards have a throwback design and land at 1:3.33 packs, so you'll get about six per box. Some carry Red Autographs, making them a secondary auto chase. They also have their own parallel rainbow.
Are there any secret inserts or Easter eggs?
Yes. Pond Hockey returns, and there's a Premier insert set that's a nod to O-Pee-Chee's original premium line. These are unannounced, so they're fun surprises when you pull them.
