What's the big rookie chase in this set?

Alexis Lafreniere is the marquee rookie. His base card is numbered to 999, but there are also Rookie Redemption versions, autographed parallels, and memorabilia cards that make him the primary target for most collectors opening boxes.

How many autographs do I get per box?

Every hobby box contains three total hits that are either autographs, memorabilia cards, or Aurum inserts. You're also guaranteed one Rookie Redemption card, which can have an autograph version depending on the player and tier.

What parallel tiers are in this set?

There are a ton. Base parallels range from Blue Sapphire (/499) down to Black (/5). Material parallels add jersey and patch pieces in various colors and print runs. Autograph versions exist for many parallels, with some numbered as low as 1/1. The rarest are Black Autograph Dual Premium Material cards at 1/1.

Are there any retro or throwback inserts?

Yes. Arena Artifacts use pieces from Maple Leaf Gardens (31 copies each, honoring the arena's 1931 opening). There's also a 2010-11 Retro Auto Facts insert and 2005-06 Retro Rookies Redemptions, plus 2018-19 and 2019-20 Update cards.

What's the difference between hobby and retail packs?

Hobby packs have exclusive access to most autograph and memorabilia inserts, Rookie Redemption Emerald parallels, and Aurum cards. Retail packs get Blue Sapphire parallels (one per blaster) and can pull Auto Facts and NHL Remnants, but miss out on the premium stuff.
