What are these options?
Hobby Box
The full-size box sold through card shops rather than big-box stores. It has the most packs and the best odds, and most modern hobby boxes guarantee at least one autograph or memorabilia card. Pack and card counts vary by product line. Older listings sometimes call this a wax box.

Frequently asked

Who's 2015-16 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee for?
A solid first box. Cheap to crack, fun to rip, and you'll still land the year's rookies without dropping serious cash.
What's the main draw of 2015-16 O-Pee-Chee?
It's the retro design and massive 600-card base set. If you love the old-school O-Pee-Chee look and want to build a set without breaking the bank, this is it. The Marquee Rookies (Malcolm Subban, Kevin Fiala, Jacob de la Rose) are the key early-season rookies, though the product released before the regular season started so the rookie pool is limited.
Are there autographs in hobby boxes?
Not guaranteed. Autographs are case-hit level. A 12-box case should yield two OPC Signatures, one Team Canada Signature, and some randomly inserted Sports Royalty autographs. If you're chasing autos, you're looking at a half-case or full-case break.
What parallels should I know about?
Retro lands one per pack and is the signature parallel. Rainbow Foil comes 1:4 packs and is pretty common. There's also Black Border Rainbow numbered to 100, which is tougher. All-Star Glossy inserts come 1:8 packs, with rarer Skills (1:100) and MVP (1:400) versions.
How many cards are in the base set?
600 total. The main base set is 500 cards of veterans, plus 100 additional cards (Marquee Rookies, Marquee Legends, and other inserts). It's a big checklist, so building a full set takes patience.
What's the deal with the patches?
There are five different patch subsets: Base Variations (1:147), Rookies and Legends (1:900), Modern Brand Logos (1:540), Vintage Brand Logos (1:1,874), and Mascots (1:4,685). Combined, they land four per 12-box case, so they're pretty scarce.
Is this a good value product?
If you're a set builder or retro fan, yes. It's positioned as a low-end hockey product with no guaranteed hits, so the box price is reasonable. You won't pull big money cards, but you'll get a lot of cards to work with and some nice parallels along the way.
What's the V Series B insert?
It's a continuation of the V Series inserts from 2014-15. They land 1:4 packs on average (2 per box) and are part of the throwback insert strategy.
Can Canadian collectors get exclusive cards?
Yes. Special wrapper packs come with five exclusive Red parallels plus one of 42 different Mini Glossy inserts, which are a throwback to the 1980s O-Pee-Chee Glossy sets. This is a redemption program for Canadian collectors.
When did 2015-16 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee come out?
It dropped September 2, 2015.
What's in a 2015-16 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee hobby box?
32 packs per box, 8 cards per pack
Where can I buy 2015-16 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee?
We track listings across the major North American card shops and surface the best price up top. The Buy on eBay links go through the eBay Partner Network.
