What are these options?
- Hobby Box
- The full-size box sold through card shops rather than big-box stores. It has the most packs and the best odds, and most modern hobby boxes guarantee at least one autograph or memorabilia card. Pack and card counts vary by product line. Older listings sometimes call this a wax box.
- Blaster Box
- The small retail box sold at stores like Walmart and Target, usually the cheapest full box on the shelf. Autographs are not guaranteed, but many blasters carry exclusive parallels you cannot pull from a hobby box.
- Cases
- The factory-sealed carton a product ships in, holding a set number of boxes. A full case is the whole carton; an inner case is a smaller sealed block from inside it. Case buyers get untouched pack sequencing and a lower price per box. Some rare cards are seeded about once per case, which is what collectors mean by a case hit.

How do the Outburst parallels work?
Outburst cards pull at 1:12 packs for both base veterans and Young Guns. Red Outburst is numbered to 25, and Gold Outburst is a 1/1. The base Outburst has no serial number, making it the most common version of the parallel.
What's the base set size?
The base set is 80 cards total. Cards 1-50 are veterans, 51-70 are Young Guns, and 71-80 are the new Postseason Standouts subset. All base cards have three levels of numbered parallels: Deluxe (/250), Exclusives (/100), and High Gloss (/10).
What inserts should I be chasing in a hobby box?
You'll average one Dazzlers card per box (1:5 packs), one UD Canvas per case on average, and one Netminders card per box. UD Portraits pull at 1:10 packs. The ultra-rare Magnifique and Fearless Leaders are the top chase inserts but odds haven't been published.
Are there autographs in every box?
No. Upper Deck hasn't published odds on the autographed cards, but they're confirmed to be in the product. Select base cards have autographed versions, and there's a new Signature Sensations insert with autographs, including 1st autograph cards for some players.
What's the deal with UD Canvas this year?
