The full-size box sold through card shops rather than big-box stores. It has the most packs and the best odds, and most modern hobby boxes guarantee at least one autograph or memorabilia card. Pack and card counts vary by product line. Older listings sometimes call this a wax box.

For collectors who want hits without Cup money. Figure on an auto or relic every box or two, with rookies you'll actually recognize.
Q2What are the key rookie cards in this set?
The rookie class includes Johnny Gaudreau, Leon Draisaitl, Aaron Ekblad, Sam Reinhart, and Evgeny Kuznetsov among others. They're available in three tiers: Level 1 /799, Level 2 autographs /399, and Level 3 inscribed autographs /49. The Level 3 cards are the toughest pull at just 49 copies each.
Q3How many autographs should I expect per box?
An average box should yield about 1.5 autographs. An 8-box case contains 12 autograph cards total. These come from rookie autos, signature pucks, ice scripts, and triptych signatures.
Q4What's the deal with Triptych Relics?
Triptych cards are a new addition for 2014-15. Each player has three individual cards featuring different memorabilia or autographs. If you pull all three, you can assemble them into a sequence with solid eye appeal. Some individual cards are quite limited.
Q5What makes the Crystal cards special?
Crystal cards are plexiglass subset cards that have become a standard chase element in Trilogy. Twenty of the top rookies are available as Crystal Premieres, plus veteran cards. They're visually distinct and highly sought after by collectors.
Q6What's in a typical box break?
A typical box yields four numbered chase cards (which could be rookies, press plates /1, or black parallels /3), one crystal plexiglass card, one numbered rookie auto, one triptych relic, one additional rookie or triptych, and one premium autograph from sets like Ice Scripts or Signature Pucks.
Q7Are there any Hall of Famers or legends in the base set?
Yes. The base set includes legends like Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Bobby Orr, Patrick Roy, Teemu Selanne, and others. These cards add nostalgia and collectibility to the product alongside the modern stars.
Q8What are Signature Pucks?
Signature Pucks are autograph cards featuring a player's signature on top of small puck replicas. The pucks can bear current team logos, retro logos, or the NHL shield. They're a returning insert that received a lot of collector attention in previous years.
