One hand-signed buyback autograph card. Topps acquired old cards from the secondary market, had them signed by current active players, added a 2024 foil stamp, and encased each one. No fresh base cards, just authenticated vintage or insert cards with new autographs.

How are the cards numbered?
Every card is serially numbered to 99 or fewer copies. No individual card exists in more than 99 copies. Players may sign several different cards, each with its own print run, but exact breakdowns by card and player have never been published by Topps.
What's the difference between this and the Retired Player Edition?
The Active Player Edition features current MLB players signing cards. The Retired Player Edition features Hall of Famers and retired legends. Both follow the same format: one authenticated buyback autograph per box, hand-signed and foil-stamped.
Can I pull the same card twice?
Theoretically yes, but it's extremely unlikely. With 124 different signers and many signing multiple different cards, the odds of hitting the exact same card in two separate boxes are very low. The product is designed to be eclectic.

Every card comes in a Topps Authenticated case and includes a foil stamp with the 2024 year mark. The foil stamp also notes if that particular card was used in a previous Archives Signature Series release, helping differentiate it from a random mail-in autograph.
