Frequently asked

What exactly is a buyback card?
It's an original card from a past Topps or Bowman product that's been re-signed by the player on-card, then encased and foil-stamped with the Archives Signature Series logo. Each card is serial numbered and comes in a protective holder.
Who are the key players in this set?
The checklist includes active stars like Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Mike Trout, Kris Bryant, Jose Altuve, Manny Machado, and Carlos Correa. There are also established veterans like Albert Pujols, Ichiro Suzuki, and David Price.
How is this different from the 2016 version?
The 2016 Archives Signature Series focused on retired MLB All-Stars. The 2017 Active Player Edition shifts the checklist to current players, giving collectors a chance to pull autographs of players still in the game.
What cards can be signed in this product?
Any original card from Topps or Bowman products can be selected as a buyback. That means you might pull a card from a recent set or a vintage Topps release, all signed by the player and serial numbered.
Are there different types of autographs?
Yes. Beyond standard buyback autographs, you can find Autograph Relics (signed cards paired with memorabilia) and Dual Autographs (multi-player signed cards), though odds for these aren't published.
Is this a good value at $45-55 per box?
That depends on your pull. You're guaranteed one autograph, but the player and card type vary widely. Breakers often find better value breaking cases, while individual box buyers take on more variance.
