Frequently asked
What makes Sapphire different from regular Chrome?
Sapphire is the ultra-premium tier of Chrome with a jewel-like Sapphire Chrome finish on the card stock itself. It's more limited and exclusive than the flagship Chrome release, with fewer parallels, inserts, and autographs to create a more refined collecting experience.
What autographs can I pull?
You can hit Topps Chrome Autographs, Future Stars Autographs, Havoc Marks, or 1980-81 Topps Basketball Autographs. Each auto set comes in five numbered Sapphire parallels (Gold /50, Orange /25, Black /10, Red /5) plus the ultra-rare Padparadscha 1/1.
How rare is Infinite Sapphire?
Infinite Sapphire is the toughest insert at 1:160 packs, meaning it falls roughly once every other case. It's the marquee chase for collectors hunting the rarest hits.
What are the base card parallels?
Base cards come in six numbered tiers: Purple /75 (1:6 packs), Gold /50 (1:9), Orange /25 (1:17), Black /10 (1:42), Red /5 (1:84), and the 1/1 Padparadscha (1:418 packs). Every parallel is serial-numbered.
Is there a guaranteed autograph per box?
Yes, each box contains one autograph on average. With 8 packs per box and 4 cards per pack, you're looking at 32 cards total, and one should be signed.
What's the difference between base Sapphire and Chrome Updates Sapphire?
Chrome Updates Sapphire is a refreshed version with new photography and current-season storytelling, released September 3. The base Sapphire set focuses on the core roster. Both feature the same Sapphire Chrome finish and parallel structure.
Who are some of the key rookies in the set?
The set includes 40 rookies in the checklist. Notable prospects include Stephon Castle, Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, and Alex Sarr, all of whom can be pulled in Sapphire parallels and autograph versions.
