What's the base set size and structure?
High Number adds 225 cards (#501–725) to the main Heritage set, bringing the full 2023 Heritage checklist to 725 cards. Of the High Number cards, 25 are short prints that fall at 1:4 packs. For the first time in Heritage history, there are no SPs in the base set outside of those 25 short prints.
What are the key rookie cards?
Masataka Yoshida is the marquee rookie in this set, along with other in-season call-ups like Ryan Noda, Brenton Doyle, Cal Stevenson, Mason Miller, and Josh Jung. High Number consistently delivers the year's hottest rookie debuts.
How do the parallels work?
The main 200-card shell has Black Border (50 copies each) and Flip Stock (5 copies each), both hobby-only. Fifty cards also get Mini (/100) and Chrome versions. Chrome includes Refractors (/673), Silver Border (/373), Black Border (/73), Gold Border (/3), and 1/1 Superfractors. Purple Refractors are exclusive to unmarked hobby and blaster hot boxes.
What autographs should I expect?
Real One Autographs are on-card signatures with Special Edition Red Ink versions capped at 74 copies each. You'll also find 1974 Highlights Autographs (/99 or less) and one-of-one Cut Signatures. Every hobby box guarantees one autograph or memorabilia card.
What are the box loaders?
Each hobby box comes with one of four different box loaders: 1974 Topps Oversized (jumbo base cards), 1974 Topps Puzzles, 1974 Topps Deckle Edge, or 1974 Topps Originals (1974 cards with added foil stamp).
What inserts are in the product?
Award Winners, Combo Cards, Now and Then, Rookie Performers, 1974 Highlights (non-auto), 1974 Baseball Stamps, and The Hammer (Hank Aaron tribute) all return. Clubhouse Collection Relics come in standard, Gold (/99), Patch (1/1), and multi-player Dual, Triple, and Quad versions.
Are there any variations to hunt?
Yes. Action Image and Team Name and Color Swap variations are hobby-only. Missing Signature and Throwback Uniform Variations also return. These add extra chase elements beyond the base set and parallels.
